Though they may sound harmless enough, bed bugs are a very real problem that can interrupt an otherwise enjoyable night’s rest. Bed bugs are far from fatal, but you’ll know you have them from the bite marks they leave after feeding on your blood. Obviously, no one wants that.
There’s really no one way to get rid of bed bugs. In fact, you’ll want to select several options for treating them in order to make sure they’re gone for good. This starts first by washing all your bedding thoroughly. This even means taking your bed apart and wiping down the entire thing with rubbing alcohol or other preventative solution.
Once that’s been done and you’ve put your entire bed back together, invest in beg bug preventive measures. For example, you’ll want to buy discs you can put below the posts of your bed. Bed bugs can’t fly, so they need to climb up your bed’s legs until they reach your comforter sets. These discs contain glue, ointment or just poison. In any case, bugs will never get past these discs, meaning they can never get into your bed.
If you see bed bugs, spray them with rubbing alcohol on contact and make sure they die.
